Video: Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Easter Egg Unwrapped
With every release of a new Android version it seems that Google has this sort of ritual for users to find out on their device. By rapidly tapping the version number found on the Settings > About Phone section, users where then treated with some cool looking art. Gingerbread users were treated to a zombie art, while Honeycomb users got the bumblebee Android. For Ice Cream Sandwich users well it’s a an 8bit Android or shall I say “biscuit droid”. Holding the picture will turn make the droid larger, after which a huge wave of them will fly out on your screen with a familiar background that resembles the famous Internet meme the Nyan-Nyan cat.
On the other hand, Jelly Bean does has its own rendition of the Easter egg and is the same as before. You just need to tap the Android version number before and presto! You’ll then see a red smiling jelly bean. Hold on the picture for a couple of seconds and it will burst into numerous jelly beans floating. You can even flick those beans one-by-one and toss them out on the corners of your screen. Good way to pass out boredom if you ask me.
