For those of you who are avid fans of Sega’s popular Dreamcast title Crazy Taxi, well the wait is finally over as the game has finally made it through Android. Unfortunately, the game’s “near future” status has been changed to a couple of months as this was originally reported way back last year.

The classic Crazy Taxi game for Android still remains faithful to the original game.  Players will still be commandeering a taxi and drive through the city streets like a maniac picking up fares and getting their customers to their location as fast as possible while keeping them happy in the process.

The new Crazy Taxi is digitally remastered for mobile devices and still features the same hits that makes you want to drive like crazy offering tunes from The Offspring and Bad Religion. There are also extra large hills for you take part in long jump and conveniently placed angled ramps for you to rake in some serious points.

The game also supports the use of controllers with Power A Moga, Xbox and all HID controllers for your convenience. Since the game is optimized for mobile devices, Sega did an awesome job of making the controls perfect as well as the actual gameplay.

If you have been a fan of Crazy Taxi during its Dreamcast days, then you’ll certainly love the Android version as well. You can grab Crazy Taxi off the Google Play Store for $4.99.
